Hey everyone!
Today we have another instalment of the “Introducing” series, wherein I introduce you to a character from my roster that has never been depicted by me before and has never been featured here on DeviantArt.
And today, please welcome Gumdrop Smiles!

Gumdrop Smiles is a 36 year old earth pony mare hailing from the City of Trottingham, who is a very successful confectioner by trade. As you can likely guess, she is a happy mare, who just loves spending time with those that she cares for, and will do anything within reason for them.
She comes from a large family of farmers that primarily grow sugarcane and cocoa beans amongst other crops. It should come as no surprise to anyone, that her family supplies a lot of her raw materials- notably, at full market value. Gumdrop simply won’t accept the family discount that they offered her.
Gumdrop enjoys brewing potions as well, and was tutored in this by a Zebra named Zeva. She almost exclusively brews endurance potions, something that while not addictive, she physically requires one to get through an average working day.
Physically, Gumdrop is tall and lanky for an earth pony mare, and is a rather weak example of her species, with low strength and endurance- hence the reliance on potions. Other than that, she suffers no long term illnesses or physical ailments.
As mentioned before, Gumdrop is a happy mare, and that gentle but endless joy carries over into almost every aspect of her life. She is a kindly lady who has a real soft spot for children- and often gives them freebies with their purchases.
Her red collar is something that can be found on her at almost all times, only being removed for bathing and cleaning purposes. On it is an inscription of: “Q.T. 3.14.” This refers to an incident where she was openly called a “Real Cutiepie” by an unknown member of the Royal Guard detachment in Trottingham.
When it comes to more personal matters, Gumdrop is a currently single heterosexual mare, and the actual species of a potential partner is utterly unimportant to her, so long as she is respected, loved, and treated well. Gumdrop is known to be submissive in the bedroom, but apart from has very vanilla sexual appetites.
