Here’s my ideal series finale to MLP (That take place after the events of Season 7 and The Movie) in the style of The Railway Series.

It has been many months since the Storm King’s attack at Canterlot, and things have gone back to normal. Well, almost.
Not much as been happening in Equestria lately, apart from learning a disturbing discovery, which has led to our friends (The Mane Six and the Cutie Mark Crusaders) to drift away from each other.
It was hard for all of them, but thankfully, they still keep in touch with one another. Some of them are now married, some of them have moved away and one of them has become a grownup….by magic!
However, recently, a very special gala brought them and every creature together and….
But, if I told you anymore, I’d spoil the final story!

Plot: Four months have gone by, and still no creature has grown older. Not only that, but there seems to be a lack of friendship problems and no villainess activates. This leads to the friend group to drift apart from each other…
- My Changeling Wife
Plot: When she sees how sad Twilight, Chrysalis insists that she, Twila and Nyx move into the Changeling Hive with her and her two daughters, Larva and Crystal. Twilight is unsure at first, however, as time goes on, she warms up to the hive and enjoys spending time with her daughter and especially her wife Chrysalis.

Plot: Rainbow and Applejack play decide to play one last game before they part ways. After losing to the rainbow-maned pony, Applejack has do something…..they have to marry Discord and Silverlay!

Plot: After getting a lot support and comfort from her adopted parents (Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles) and big sister (Rainbow Dash), Scootaloo decides give her family a gift. With some help from her cousins (Barley and Pickle Barrel) and uncle (Rainbow Blaze), the little filly makes the perfect gift!

Plot: When the Changeling Hive is need of volunteers to help protect the changelings from danger, Sweetie Belle makes a decision that will change her life forever…
- Bumper Jumper (Based on the Fireman Sam book Sam’s Bumper Jumper: https://firemansam.fandom.com/wiki/Sam%27s_Bumper_Jumper)
Plot: Marble Pie attempts to knit her husband Big Mac a woolly jumper, but ends in disaster. However that disaster ends up saving the day when Big Mac gets stuck on top of the Ponyville clocktower!

Plot: To cheer his marefriend Rainbow Dash up, Pharynx decides to join the Shadowbolts! Should be easy…..right?

Plot: Poor Diamond Tiara had a terrible time after her parents getting into a brutal fight, resulting in the two arrested and losing custody of their daughter. When Mayor Mare and Silverspeed heard about it, they felt sorry for the child and do something that will forever change the filly’s life…
- Big Sister Skyla (Loosely based on the Season 7 episode A Flurry of Emotions)
Plot: Skyla is unhappy when she is tasked to look after her baby sister, Flurry Heart, while her parents are away for the day.

Plot: After most of their friends have gotten married or moved away, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are the only ones left. The couple are rather sad about having to let their friends go and now they only have each other for company.
- You Are All My Very Best Friends (Loosely based on the episodes The Last Problem and The Best Night Ever)
Plot: The friends are all reunited when a special gala takes place at Canterlot. The whole night becomes very eventful…in more ways than one!
Headcanon:
The events of Season 8-9 (With the exception The Washouts and Best Gift Ever) and Rainbow Roadtrip are not canon.
Scootaloo gets adopted get Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles after her original parents and two aunts pass away.
Applejack and Pinkie are NOT cousins and Big Mac is married to Marble.
Queen Chrysalis is reformed here and married to Twilight.
Applejack’s parents are alive here.
Sweetie Belle becomes a metamorphosed changeling when the Changeling Hive is need of volunteers to help protect the changelings from danger.

Following after the poor treatment the Wonderbolts gave her in Newbie Dash, Rainbow quits the Wonderbolts and joins the Shadowbolts instead. Don’t worry, she doesn’t become a villain. For my headcanon, the Shadowbolts are real and instead of being performers or soldiers like the Wonderbolts, they are vigilante superheroes.
