Description
So I’ve been meaning to start my own set of next generation ponies for a while now. Here’s the first, my little baby. <3 I came up with her quite a while ago, like before next gen ponies had become a thing. She’s been in my sketchbook probably since season 2, actually, after the Rarike episode. She didn’t have a name until now, though, nor did she have a cutie mark (I always drew her as a filly).
So meet Crystal Burst, the daughter of Rarity and Spike. <3 Half pony, half dragon. She has unicorn powers AND the ability to breath fire. Her special talent is making stuff from melting gems (think glass blowing, only with gems).
I’ll do a proper sheet for her and my other next gen ponies later~
Done by hand with a wacom tablet in Paint Tool SAI.
