Friendships are often similar to annual flowers,
They can be beautiful & blossom quickly, yet rarely do we get to enjoy them as long as we wish
Closer relationships, (oftentimes those that last) are something between roses & rubies.
Roughly meaning they often take time to grow & take a lot of care to maintain, other times they can even seem hostile, but sometimes that hostility is to hide a wounded heart.
Love comes to us in all manner of forms, the best we can do to nurture such beginnings is to be ourselves, strive towards what makes you happy & live.
You’ll cross paths with others during this, oftentimes you’ll likely never even see when you catch another’s eye.
This world we find ourselves in nowadays is unpredictable & intimidating, few desire to take such a big leap in their lives anymore.
There was an innocent time when love was chased after…
Now it takes a whole lotta luck & trust.
Be strong my friend, I know there is good in your soul yearning for Companionship, if I can see that from across the continents, Then there IS someone closer who will see that as well.
