Stardance

Hey everybody! Baconforbreakfast426 here, back again with another deviation!

I recently watched the new G5 special and it’s better than I expected it to be apart from the main villain doing literally nothing to impact the plot (if who’s supposed to be the main antagonist of your story can be cut out without impacting the plot in any way, that is a problem). Well, that and I’m still short circuiting over how Sunny was able to bake fully frosted donuts without turning everything in the oven into an inedible impossible-to-clean mess (trust me, I know how bad frosting and ovens combine from experience). Cartoon donut logic aside, I knew I wanted to draw the Auroricorn from the special (Stardance) the second she appeared on screen because I love her design. Sometimes you can just look at a character (either one made by you or someone else) and just know they’ll go down in history as one of the greatest designs in the media they’re in. For those who’ve never experienced that feeling, don’t worry. When you do, you’ll know (it happens as quick as Mentos reacting with Coke). I hope we see more of Stardance and the other new characters in the special soon (specifically Destiny and the other seaponies because them being lore dropped is HUGE) cause I’ll be pretty disappointed if this girl doesn’t appear again. Also I’ll admit something. As an artist who not onlyvhas one of their major sources of serotonin come from exploring new places but is also suffering from major burnout and winter-induced stir craziness, if I could just have a necklace that’d take me on an adventure all over whenever I have major artist’s/writer’s block, that would be great.
(seriously, it’s borderline stir insanity at this point, I NEED TO BUST OUT!)
