For the first one: When he is given the throne around 16. He was for most of his youth sneaking out of the palace, wanting to meet the people he would rule over. Helping them from homework to cleaning up or solving disputes. At first he tried to be someone different to observe or be some anonymous fellow helper, but soon the truth was out and he accepted it. He took the throne when he politely asked Regent Benito on the promise that he would soon tie loose ends in the city and join the military to lead the men dying for him. He took the deal with pride as he hated having people do things for him when he could do it or even do it better.

This picture was taken during his early time as Emperor before joining into the service to lead his men. He refused wearing any noble clothes or anything of glamor, saying; “I haven’t earned it yet.” To any questions of his breakage of royal tradition… or mainly Griffon expectations.
