@wselfwulf Actually most of us are still hating on the first one. I think s4 being good is what’s getting a lot of people to ignore this is dropping. Also some might see this as a gateway not to more EqG, but more JEM.

Not meaning to add to any drama, but I have to say I adore this concept. I want to see the Humane Six (Seven?) in their pajamas and slippers in one of their (or their parents’) garages, passing a microphone around, singing and laughing, partial bottles of cider in their hands. I want to see Twilight Sparkle take her first experimental costume skirt twirl in Rarity’s bedroom. I want to see Pinkie Pie stretched out over a corner couch, body still tingling with the adrenaline of an amazing performance, a dreamy little smile on her lips as the after-party begins.
 
But whatever they end up actually doing is fine too. Can’t wait!

I know I have become much more “go with the flow” than I was before.
 
I’m ashamed to admit it, but back when it was confirmed, I was one of those who hated Twilicorn for the sole reason: “I DON’T LIKE CHANGE!!!”

Maybe I’m just deluding myself, but it feels to me like the fandom is actually maturing when it comes to responding to stuff like this.
 
I mean, compared to the number of people that LOST THEIR MINDS in the leadup to the Royal Wedding, I get the vibe that people are more willing to go with the flow and take things as they come now.
 
The only “drama” is coming from the same few shitposters over and over again, so there’s a lot less of the PANIC HIVEMIND than before. Or maybe I’ve just gotten better at ignoring it, I dunno.
