my little pony gen 4 redesigns made just for fun! (and practice.. maybe?)
i was also inspired by the new series.. so i thought to my self: what would they look like in the new generation?

Applejack: i wanted to make her the strongest of the group, so i made her an earthpony just like the original. she can drop all the apples by kicking the trees with her mighty legs.
Pinkiepie: small flying potato that brings joy everywhere. a pegaus in love with theatre and comedy fits perfectly, to me.
Rarity: i wanted to include the crhystal ponies in the main group, and since she’s represents a peculiar beauty, the radiance of chrystals fits perfectly to her; she’s can also find and dig out rare gems.
Rainbowdash: small but dynamic. she’s the fastest pegasus of the whole kingdom to the point she can trigger a sonic rain-boom.
Fluttershy: shy and nature-connected unicorn of the forest. i was inspired by the nynph mythology for her design. she have a green-hoof talent and speaks to animals.
Twilight Sparkle: an alicorn mixed with every pony kind. just like a real leader should be. her cutiemark represents the cosmic powers of her royal ancestors and the friendship with the other manesix, as the original.
