The assists used in Make Your Mark are a step down from those in A New Generation so presumably not reused. (And neither had seaponies so what is that about?)
They did reuse assets? At worst they don’t have the seapony model or the new locations. Which sucks since 5 months had passed now and nothing. They’re losing money and wasting time.

Hasbro is partially at fault. If the AI thing is indeed real, then Hasbro and the Purists get 70% and 30% blame respectively. But as it’s not I’ll say the Purists and Hasbro get 60% and 40% respectively instead.

Pretty much, but even more so when photoshop first started to hit the mainstream. “Real” artists were doomed because of all that “fake” digital art by lazy people who used crutches like layers and cntl-z.
Yep. And there’s pretty strong overlap between the G4 purists who contributed to killing MYM, and the anti-AI bandwagon, who jumped on the fake news.
I’m not sure how wishing a cancellation is a critique.
I bet that’s what people said when AutoTune hit the market.
