Trixie is an exceptionally gifted alteration mage. Rarity is a student of the now defunct school of mysticism.

You know, except for when she had it to keep the CMC out for an unspecified period of time.
And magical power can be determined by the use of similar spells. Cadence can put up a shield around a city-state and keep it up for a week. Twilight can’t risk putting up a shield until a few seconds before impact, and it only covers a tree.
The second time it was a extremely specific looking love shield spell to keep Sombra out.

However, Twilight has never affected an area the size of a city while collapsing from exhaustion. Cadence did that twice.
Other then the name of the show, I have yet to see anything indicate “mo friends, mo powah”
Cadence can influence the four loves. In Equestria, where magic is linked by the relationships between ponies, she is GOD.
I would say Twilight has more magical “umpf” then Cadence has.
