The term “The costumer is always right” is and should be used for, if a costumer wants to buy yellow pants with a green coat, or a cheesburger with alot of mayonnaise, the seller should not hinder them buying it, and not, the seller should accept expired coupons or refunds for half eaten muffins.

The customer is most certainly not always right. There are those who purely want to cause problems for the sake of causing problems, or because they are self-entitled beyond all reason.
Some pompous prick walking in with a button saying the “Customer is Always Right” straight up to Tempest (or whoever is working the counter)? Yeah, they have what’s coming to them.
