Emerald approaches the rod and examines it.
He knows he’s seen this before, or if not this then something like it. After thinking for a few moments he remembers that the first time he met Sensoria the guards that were with her had one of these, and further when he was fighting on the pirate ship one of the sailors tried to use this thing to summon reinforcements. He thinks he remembers it being called an Etheric Beacon, or something?
Emerald lifts his amulet and asks what the staff is, but it remains silent. He let’s go of the necklace and stares back towards his compass. It certainly seems to be pointing towards it.
