Cadance only agreed to marry Chrysalis for political reasons, but disliked her intensely for all the harm she had done to ponies over the centuries. To her disgust, Chrysalis was more than enthusiastic about their marriage, and playfully flirted with Cadance throughout the reception. Her pointing out stallions at the reception and suggesting she change into one to satisfy Cadance on their wedding night was particularly jarring.
