Golf Ball: Golf Ball was originally made for a specific joke. Golf balls are quite heavy and sink when placed in water. She is friends with Helium Tank, since helium is lighter than air and it floats. So it’s sort of a complimentary pairing but with no coherent logic with their species.

Leaf: Leaf is one of the earliest characters created, in 2014 rather than in 2015. Leaf is the brother of Leafhead. They are both intended to be gardeners, similar to Ginger and Corn. However, unlike Ginger and Corn, Leaf and Leafhead’s lifestyle is more modern and they are not as much concerned about protecting the environment. Leaf’s original design was inspired by the character Donny from Adventure Time, a monster creature whose body is covered in leaves. Through out the year, Leaf and Leafhead’s bodies change pigment according to the season they live in. Leaf originally had a human name. His name was Leo.

Needle: Needle’s body is actually the tip part of a syringe. Needle first appeared in a drawing where he appears to be injecting Pencil with an unknown liquid. He was originally going to be paired with Pencil. The joke is that pencils can be made sharp, and so the two can be grouped together as their bodies contain sharp parts.

Pen: Pen is an anthropomorphic ballpoint pen. His base is white, his cap is indigo blue with various shades of blue on the indents. He wears a grey necklace with a the letter “P”. Pen wears yellow shorts, and a pair of white shoes. Like Pencil, he has heterochromia. His right pupil is blue while his left pupil is purple.

Pencil: Pencil is an anthropomorphic classic HB wooden pencil. His base is orange with gold vertical stripes. The tip of his head is sharpened. Like Pen, Pencil wears a necklace with the letter “P”. He also has heterochromia, but the opposite of his brother. His right pupil is purple, while his left pupil is blue. He wears khakis and a pair of orange shoes.
