Rodeos are canon. Troubleshoe’s entire arc was wanting to be in the rodeo, lol. IIRC, rodeos in MLP are basically sporting events, like the Olympics.

I imagine it would be more a carnival kind of thing. Things like steer wrestling and tie-down roping would probably be treated akin to those “challenge the circus strongman” kind of events, barrel racing would probably be like an obstacle course, things like that :D

I wonder what a rodeo would be like in the MLP-verse. Would the audience be watching in amazement of how one of their own kind can do things they think are impossible, like how we would experience going to a circus, or would they be there to see how well their kind can engage with livestock, like how we would experience a rodeo?

I think you meant to reply to Badum. That being said, I’ve seen others say the same as you. Personally, using DnD terms, average ponies would be Small size, which is around 2-4 ft tall.

Yeah he’s trouble, but 99% of Celestia’s life is already trouble. Sure, she’s in for the occasional pratfall or being pied in the face or broken furniture because of his luck, but she already puts up with being kidnapped and trapped in cocoons, kidnapped by plants, being thrown in Tartarus, you name it. It’s like in Spider Man when Peter says to Mary Jane he can’t date her because if his enemies found out he was Spider Man they’d target her, and she points out that he already has to save her all the time anyways XD

I put her at between 6 and 7 feet tall. I like the idea that she towers over humans as well. It gives her a tall Queen of the Elves kind of vibe :D
