The OC here is Stormfront, a Pegasus with an Earth Pony father who is just massive. Basically, she is a member of a group of weather managers known collectively as the Cardinal Winds. North Winds, like Rainbow Dash and Stormy’s mom, are the main weather managers. East & West Winds are executors of the North Winds weather plans. South Winds, like Stormfront and Derpy, are ponies that partition clouds and make sure that the weather plans can be executed.
 
She finds out that Luna was a major part of a weather incident that would put Equestria under a major fog barrier. Luna, in an attempt to make things better, created an enchantment that basically makes ponies nocturnal (it justs re-attunes ponies, and grants them night vision and light-reflecting eyes). A friend of Stormfront’s became the test subject. Unfortunatly, he also had taken Luna’s memories of when she was Nightmare Moon.
