Welcome to another instalment of the Random Character Art series, wherein I rework a character from my roster that could do with the attention- today, it was the turn of Meridian.
This was a FULL redesign, and nothing of her original, more gaudy appearance remains apart from her glasses and cutie mark. I, as I have been told on many occasions, obviously have a tendency towards more neutral, or natural colour palettes, so today was to be no exception.
A muted palette of brown on pale tan was near perfect for the task, and a practical, tied back mane and tail was appropriate for a mare that is often in the field surveying for the maps that she makes. I feel that coupled with the glasses, it gives her a professional, yet cute look- even if she denies it XD
