Hey everyone,

Another day, another filly pic- and today we have the inimitable Rose Bug, one of my more popular characters.

As to what her personality was like back then, well, she was a little firecracker! Energetic, willful, and determined to do whatever she wanted, no matter the cost or risk, she was a massive pain in the ass for her unbelievably patient parents throughout much of her childhood.

She had a tendency to steal things, break things, and do a whole lot of smack-talking on the side. Fights with other colts and fillies were a common occurrence for this little filly, and she grew up boisterous, strong, and tough, if rather unpopular with many other ponies due to her exploits.

In this picture, she is posed for a photo, yet has decided to add a bit of tongue to the pose- just to mess with the photographer and her long-suffering parents.

Yet for how much of a nightmare as Rose Bug could be, she could also be a charming, thoughtful, adorable little bean as well, and this is likely why a lot of problems she caused ended up forgiven.

However, now in her 30s, Rose Bug is a calm and collected mare of botanical and entomological science, who is without a shred of violence left in her by all accounts, and can count on two former bearers of the Elements of Harmony as close friends; specifically, Rarity and Fluttershy.
