Description
Hey everyone,
Bit of a short description here, but I kinda decided to do a quick redesign of this happy batto, Velvet Facade. (Yes, the lack of ear tufts is an intentional quirk of hers.)
She is quite a bouncy and excitable character for a thestral, who puts her all into her role as the director’s aide in a prestigious Canterlot theatre. Affable, genial and almost always with a smile upon her face, Velvet us more talented than you’d expect, being skilled in singing, dancing, acting, and her favourite thing of all; playing her masterwork tenor saxophone.
Unfortunately, she is afflicted with the Red Curse of the Thestrals, and is therefore dependant on drinking small amounts of blood to survive. This is a chronic condition if left untreated, but can be maintained at a reasonable level by the use of transfusion units supplied by the Royal Equestrian Health Service.
However, this affliction has not slowed her down in the slightest, and in her spare time, she spends it campaigning for the Noctis Foundation- Princess Luna’s charitable organisation for sufferers of the Red Curse.
