No I didn’t. (Even though they only brought up Mega Man’s appearance about the whole thing.) It has to take more than just talking about Super Smash Bros, The Legend of Zelda and Metroid in order to see that John Joseco cares about all of Nintendo’s franchises.
Did you somehow miss her fangasming over the new Smash Brothers?

It could be only Luna in these panels because JJ was shipping out these comics pretty fast. Including all three ponies in all seven panels is somewhat a tall order even if there is no background and color.
That was an awesome game :D , I hope one day they remake it for the Nintendo 3DS.
Yup. When a new 3D Mario, Zelda, or Super Smash Bros are announced, its pretty much the trailer saying “Time to buy the system now.”

Yes. If JJ is considering the new Mario and DK to be uninteresting, then he has a terrible taste in gaming.
I personally wouldn’t mind a new Super Mario Galaxy. I loved those games. But I also loved Super Mario 3D Land so I guess its appropriate for the game to have a sequel and be the successor to the Galaxy games.
Yeah. Retro Studios is more than Metroid. The fact that they brought Donkey Kong back to glory is another thing that makes them famous.
Yup. Just bring something that everyone loves from the old games and they’ll eat it all up. But to honest, I do love Dave Wise. (I could have sworn he only composed DKC2’s music.)

I can see. No gamer alive especially Luna would be disappointed with a new 3D Mario game and a new DKC game.
It’s official. JJ is a total whore for Sony and Microsoft products and couldn’t care less about Nintendo. This is NOT how I would depect Luna as a gamer.
Nintendo’s not pushing away anyone, it’s the third parties who are too stubborn to give the system a chance to begin with. Nintendo’s got giving any third parties any restrictions, they don’t limit things like patches or DLC, and heck indie developers have said that making games for the system is quite easy and low cost, with the process for indie devs to get their games on the eShop being pretty simple.
If anything it’s the third parties, save for a select few (like Ubisoft), who are not giving the system the love it needs. Of course your damn games won’t sell on the system IF YOU DON’T EFFIN TRY FIRST!
There have been plenty of consoles with a large selection of games after a year.
There would be more games on wii u would allow others rather than just nintendo to make games for them.
Nintendo need to stop pushing away their third parties.
I was ok with them denying EA but other company are getting pushed away too.

yeah of course… “jungle beat” was good but against three “konga” opus, the dk game was relegated as music games
(And I don’t speak of “king of swing” and “jungle climber” which completely unnoticed)
