Weird, I was looking at the hungarian voice actors of Pulp Fiction on iszdb (lists the voice actors who voiced characters in hungarian versions of movies).

You are correct. Hungarian is Finno-Ugric. But it isn’t Indo-European, so yeah, that makes it very difficult for most people in the West at least to learn.

No, not really as far as I can tell grammatically. It’s a member of the finn-ugric (sp) language family.
It’s not eastern european, it’s not meditarian, it’s not Balkan, it’s not russian, it’s pretty much everybit of everything.
