Also, for the record, we’re talking about a pony plushie here. This isn’t really the appropriate place for this kind of argument. Unless, of course, you’d like to take it up with everyone who’s ever sold an MLP plush, seeing as they’re all just copying Faust’s OC’s.

Shame the creator didn’t just make the plushie himself. Yay getting buttmad because someone else made something awesome of your OC? Isn’t this kind of a dream come true for him? Honestly, how many people get to experience their OC, and a pony OC no less, actually get some attention on the internet?  
Trying to claim credit for this plush would be analogous to Hasbro taking ownership of Alex S’s remixes. If this guy really cared for his OC’s popularity (and the people who enjoy her presence in the community) he’d let people do whatever they want with it. If Hasbro barred the sales of fan works early on this fandom wouldn’t be half of what it is; the popularity of this OC is no different.  
Moreover, I doubt this pony’s going to sell for 10K rap dollars based solely on it being MW. It’s a damned good plush, and that in itself gives it tremendous innate value regardless of its likeness. It’s common sense that publishing anything on the internet introduces risks. I don’t think anyone would disagree with the claim that this OC has become something more within the community, and that it isn’t what it is just because it was created by some dude.
 
Does anyone else here think “buttercupbabyppg” owes something to anyone for this?

Shame the creator of the OC knew nothing of this prior to it being listed on ebay. Yay profiting off someone else’s idea!
