Or Rarity is more understanding than it seems and she thoughtfully realized that even if it was huge blow to her privacy, Sweetie Belle was still her little sister, and she along with the CMC needed some counselling instead of getting the cold shoulder.

Also, (sorry to keep going) Fluttershy didn’t shun them. She was just to distraught to talk to them. Rainbow’s reaction didn’t seem that out of character. And Twilight is always prone to overreacting. Plus, Twilight worries about fitting in. Lies about how she doesn’t like ponyville probably made her really worry that some people would be mad at her.

I never had a problem with this episode. It was always my belief that Rarity and Sweetie always had a strained relationship, so Rarity was able to recover quickly from the betrayal. Applejack on the other had believed her relationship with Apple Bloom to be strong and unbreakable. So it really hurt her when Apple Bloom betrayed her, and she wasn’t sure how to take it, so she just refused to talk to her. It’s a pretty common theme for Applejack to run from or ignore her problems.

This is why I watch it and if it’s has more good then bad I don’t have a problem with it, if it’s more bad then good I may call it bad but I won’t make a big deal of it, it had to suck very very bad for me to get upset about it.

This just demonstrates that, with pretty much any episode of the series (if not with every single one), you can always find some problem to latch onto and use to explain why the episode sucks.
 
Which is why I’m not optimistic about the future of this fandom; a huge part of it has already decided that season 4 is going to suck, so they’re going to be watching it with an eye towards explaining why it sucks.

I always thought that ever since i saw the episode, Rarity, the said drama queen, was actually the only reasonable character in the entire episode.  
I still cannot believe half of the mane 6 abused of children that doesn’t know what they do, one of the reasons i hate this abomination of episode without any redeeming qualities in bigger levels than Mare do Well.
 
For Rarity, well done girl.
