They move at multiple times the speed of sound in this movie, not speed of light. Speed of light might have been the old Superman II movie and most definitely the comics but not in Man of Steel. Still, Sunset hasn’t shown any good reaction feats so she still gets blitzed by a Mach 23 General Zod. They also haven’t been shown being weak to magic in this version and the “weak to magic” shtick in the comics was mostly the Silver Age version of Superman.

i know kryptonians are weak to magic but they move at the speed of light that sunset might not react quick,so i say zod.

Zod utterly rapes this. Just watch the final battle in the movie again to see why this is such a mismatch.
