I think why some people worry, Infinity, is because it could take away from Twilight’s own growth, considering that the stuff with Flash’s human counterpart and thus her blushing around him in the end are indications likely from his kindness in his separate but similar appearances for her, so it could depend on how it’s approached. I dunno HOW it’ll be done if at all, but hey, I’m sure that there’s some way to do it without causing a shitstorm.

That actually sounds kind of cool.

At first, I was rather skeptical of this ship but then I realized that I’ve seen other shows like Strawberry Panic where the couples I liked never got together so I just went “Fuck it.” The ships you like may or may not end up as canon but it doesn’t have to be for you to enjoy your ship; there’s a reason why the show has a fanon. And for those thinking this is going to ruin the show forever, just read Bellisario’s Maxim on why this little detail shouldn’t take away enjoyment of the show.

There have been works with romance that just ruined the experience for everyone (with Pirates of the Caribbean being a prime example because of the whole Will/Elizabeth debacle).They’re fearing Romantic Plot Tumor as it’s called in TVTropes. Should they include this into the show, which I hope they don’t because it would be a very smart choice as to not cause a shitstorm, they are walking on very thin ice.

A backstory for Flash Sentry? Sure, we can do that. He graduated bottom of his class. Has been rumored to take bribes. Spends most of his pay on booze and hookers. Offers young fillies rides in his unmarked van.

I’m personally curious about how the FIM crew would handle something like this in the show. I think they could make it believable, and funny with Twilight’s nature and the fact she would have to compromise that nature once in a while for Flash like she has for her friends just more potent (<– Couldn’t of think a proper word to get my point across)
