Which is: Fleur was in the not-so-distant past raped by his boyfriend, whom she later murdered out of revenge. She met Fancy when he saved her flank from the police/helped her out as a lawyer so she didn’t get imprisoned for a lifetime, only 4-5 years or so.

…yeah that was a bit too shady and stuff, but I didn’t want to go into 100 lines long rambling in the description, so I left it up to the viewer’s assumptions, and also, I plan to elaborate on it further in a fanfic of mine which I didn’t want to spoil for the potentional readers.
