Heh. You ‘n me both. I care little for modern-day music and I’ve all but stopped listening to commercial radio-stations. Nowadays I either turn on a CD or use Youtube.
If you’re lucky, you’ll hear one of those bands a week over here. Keeps things fresh, sort of but I personally prefere older songs over what they air nowadays.
Really? That’s good to hear. Can’t say the same, unfortunately. Radio over here tends to ignore older music in favor of new stuff.
Yeah. Very rarely “We are the champions” or “Another one bites the dust” but besides that? Zip. Same with most, really. ZZ Top, AC/DC, Guns ’n Roses, ect. Always the same songs. Good songs, yes, but after a while I kinda stop paying attention.
I often hear Bicycle and Killer Queen on the radio too.
Queen has made a ton of great songs but yeah, only Bohemian Rhapsody gets aired on the radio nowadays. Maybe We Will Rock You too but that’s it. I can’t remember the last time I heard any others, which is a shame.

Admittedly, dislike is perhaps a bit to strong a word. I’m more neutral towards it. Maybe because it’s the only Queen song you hear on the radio these days. Though like I said I like the guitar part. I once had a talk with a friend of mine who’s a big rock and metal fan, and he was adamant that Queen had made better songs than Bohemian Rhapsody. A matter of taste, like you said.

So suppose I said that I’ve always found it kinda ‘meh’? Guitar sounds nice but the rest doesn’t really do anything for me.
Same here. It’s just one of those songs that everybody likes. I’ve never met someone that didn’t like it.
It’s a classic of rock, I don’t know of any fans of rock that don’t love it, and even some people that are not fans of rock love it.
Ha, my absolute favorite song :) Just can’t get enough of it.
