Funny thing is, I get the feeling there WAS a draft with those names in it, but someone eventually said “eh… y’know what? Everyone’s just gonna call them their pony names anyway. Why confuse people?”
Honestly, Roxy dodgers was the only one that I really liked, because it suits Dash so well.
And besides, Why waste time trying to trademark new names when you can just keep the ones you already have?

You know, I never actually made that connection. Takes stealing it off the table, and explains why they accepted some random crown to be the prize. That does explain a lot.
I’m tempted to do it, since a theater within a few miles of here is finally showing it. It’d be nothing special, just 720p recorded off my phone, but I’ve taken long videos with it in the past. Not out of the question that it could last long enough in memory and power to at LEAST reach the last thirteen minutes which are ALREADY on youtube…
Yeah, the reason I’m imagining she didn’t just outright steal it is… well, she already DID.
She tries to replace the Element of Magic with the fake Fall Formal crown in Equestria, and then Principal Celestia got the EoM handed to her by Fluttershy.
I dunno, but if someone pulled that shit, I think I’d come up with a better spot to store the thing THIS time than the one it got stolen from in the first place.
Admittedly they don’t SAY this, but it’d make sense.
That’s pretty much a given at this point. I mean, the easiest solution to the get the crown thing is either steal it before hand, or let someone else win, then wait till everyone’s drunk, bash them over the skull, and take it. Bets staking your world domination scheme on a popularity contest, decided by people you’ve constantly been a bitch to.
If so, she’s not very good at being an evil sorceress.
She is, however, very good at being a BLUH BLUH HUGE BITCH.
If her finger’s moving fast enough or if her fingernail catches it, then sure. The balloons would burst from the jolt to the small surface area.
Generally speaking though, since the balloons aren’t really secured to anything, it’s a lot more likely to just bap ’em around and send ’em bobbing wildly.
