If this was true, Celestia would be to earth ponies the same size that the sun is in comparison to Earth. Celestia would be fucking gargantuan while earth ponies would be incredibly small, and Luna even smaller still…
 
…of course, it does open up for all sorts of jokes. “Celestia is so fat, any time she gets close to an earth pony, they fall into an orbit around her ass!”

Do you have any idea just how much larger Celestia would have to be for this proportional scale to make sense? ignoring the fact that Luna would be smaller then normal ponies by this logic.
