i grew up on star wars and Return was my favorite. seeing that shitty dance cartoon and that fucking beak in the Sarlacc made my blood boil
I maintain that the Jabba’s Palace dance number is the worst thing I’ve ever seen in the history of film. And I’ve seen Salo.

I can’t really remember when I first saw A New Hope but my uncle had a copy of the 84(or 85) release of Empire Strikes Back on VHS and I saw it there, never saw Return of the Jedi until the remastered e ones came out, they never bugged me at all.
I originally saw Star Wars on some vhs bootlegs my parents had, then the remastered edition came out.
Even as a child I still felt the palpable sense of betrayal that drove me into the arms of the Star Trek fandom.
Thank god I didn’t see the holiday special till I was in my twenties, or else I might have left science fiction behind altogether. That thing is a powerful vortex of suck.
I really don’t have that much of a problem with the remastered one, or the prequels, I know they have problem but they don’t bug me all that much.(puts up force field)
And I don’t care about who shot first, bottom line is Han did it in self-defense.
Oh brother.
It might be worth it for the original version of the original trilogy. If it’s the remastered version though, yeah I’ll call the holy trilogy shit.
