From what I’ve learned from a notebook that was given to me in school (it has little fun facts on each top right corner every page) cooties are a type of head lice.

Wait a few years, you’ll start liking boys. (Also do kids really believe in cooties? I never did when I was a kid and I liked hanging around girls. I even had a few kid crushes…one sided kid crushes.)
