Once Celestia’s student, Sunset Shimmer was tireless in her pursuit of power. No place too foreboding, no place too treacherous for her - for her concerns are to seek of tomes, items and artifacts that will fulfill her journey. Her pursuit brought her to a tussle with the future Grand Magus, which leads up to the events in the “Land Beyond the Mirror.”
 
Ambitious yet cunning, Impatient but cleverly manipulative, the Equestria Sunset Shimmer extensively studied the happenings in this other world, becoming obssessed with all the wonders this other world has to offer. In the process she became a unicorn with magical prowess unmatched by many. However, what many don’t know is that she studied her other self, which allows her to perform a form of forbidden magic used to capture her own essence in the form of a demon from the fabled dimension.
 
Now, she has but one motive: to become the most powerful unicorn Equestria has ever seen - and anticipating that very day, she has begin writing her own personal Grimoire. It would indubitably be instructive and destructive.
