Not necessarily the mass enslavement spell, but a super form could come in handy from time to time.
Because they’re the only ones bad enough to use them. What good guy needs the mass-enslavement spell?
But then it goes back to Twilight and does the standard taste the rainbow that was advertised on the box.
Of course it only uses the cool magic on the bad guy.
@Trickquestion
Remember when Sunset Shimmer ask Twilight what happens when you bring an Element of Harmony to another dimension. This is probably what she was talking about. They must adopt demonic powers when they are not in Equestria. That’s what I assume anyway.

I’d reckon about Y7.
What is the minimum rating for murder to be even considered?
It was weird, since there’s two cuts of this movie. I thought it was something that they scrubbed initially, but one version explicitly mentions murder and the other just says “she needs to be dealt with!”
It’s like they have one cut for DVD and one cut for TV, since I’m pretty sure you can’t explicitly mention killing other characters in a TV-Y show. But who knows for sure.
Five bucks says they never use this power again.
Hopefully, this is a signal of the franchise taking to the more Grimdark path.
Ah. Well. There’s that.
Still a long way from G3.5, huh?
He explicitly threatens to decapitate Spike.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen Rescue at Midnight Castle, but I’m pretty sure he states that he’ll either harm or enslave Spike in no uncertain terms.
All of the FiM villains except for Discord were willing to DO that. None of them ever said it except for Sunset Shimmer.
Well, not exactly, but he did show that he’s willing to kill to ensure Scorpan’s loyalty.
As far as “She needs to die!” or something similar?
I think Tirak may have threatened Spike’s life once or twice.
