A “Bad OC” can be bad for a lot of reasons. It can look good and still be bad because of its personality, backstory, interactions, and so on.
The multicoloured eye thing is bad from a design perspective, especially since both the colours horribly clash with the rest of the design.
It’s even worse because the eyes add nothing to the character, they’re there just to ‘look cool’.
It’s entirely possible that this OC is bad in other ways. ‘Peronality switching’ might be a bad character trait depending on how it’s done. Is it from something sensible like Schizophrenia or Bipolar Disorder, or is it just from some teenage-angsty demonic possession style thing?
@Teraku
yes, weird eye colors are a common mary sue trait, but like I said, mary sues can only be identified by their interactions with others, and this character has yet to interact with anyone. It’s people like you that are making the term useless via misuse.
@Whatsapokemon
This guy has it right. special snowflake syndrome is the term you are looking for, not mary sue.
Now, Mary sues often also have special snowflake syndrome, but they are not the same thing.
It would take some hilariously miraculous writing to not make this a Mary-Sue. Weird eye colours are a telltale sign of Mary-Sue OC’s. I’m surprised this one isn’t an Alicorn.
What’s next, blablabla childhood trauma? Blablabla, dead parents/family? Or some other dark and mysterious past being the cause for those eyes?
Besides, I wouldn’t give a damn if she was best Wonderbolt of the century and a stand-in for Celestia; she has nice art and a nice plot. That’s all I’m really here for when I’m in that “special” mood.
Throwing animal nature to the side, however, yeah, you have a very loose definition of mary sue.
@Teraku
Mary sue is only a definition that makes sense when comparing how the character in question interacts with the world around them. Or rather, how the world interacts with them.
declaring mary sue when we have only the barest of personality traits established just shows that you don’t know what the term means.
is all I see.
Schizophrenia actually has nothing to do with multiple personalities.

@Blissey1
You both have much better points than I do.
Is “bad OC” any different?
You have a better point than me.

@Whatsapokemon
Exactly my point.
It just reeks of special snowflake syndrome.

I thought the same… looks a lot like a bad OC to me…
I think you’re ignoring the a) cute factor and b) porn.
Move along folks, just another Mary-Sue OC.
