That sounds nice, but I kind of get the feeling most people wouldn’t mark their comments as NSFW. Also it would probably reduce actual discussion by making it really confusing. Like, people would see a third of the comments hidden and stuff.
IMO it’s better if people just tone it down on safe images.
While that is mighty convenient, it would encourage unnecessary NSFW comments.
One option would be to implement a way to mark your comment as NSFW and have it filtered in the same way images are. Users could have a set of radio buttons in their settings page for:
( ) Hide all NSFW comments
( ) Hide NSFW comments on safe images
( ) Show all NSFW comments
I’m not sure if this is something which there is much demand for though.
No… that’s messing with the tags and a definite no-no.
You can make mildly NSFW comments on most any image, but the one above was a bit much (especially considering this is an image of a kid).
Change the tag from safe to questionable, then make your comment.
Short of making a NSFW-marked thread on the forums (it seems overkill), is it possible to make an NSFW comment about a SFW image?
I assume uploading a duplicate of the image with a penis crudely photoshopped in (so it gets tagged as explicit) would be frowned upon.
