Surprise! It’s a triple-length page this time!

This webcomic requires me to go through the show at a crawl, forcing me to observe every line and composition in excruciating detail. And yet, every so often, I still find myself thinking, “Dang. This show is good.”

SFX: (KRACKOOM!)
Twilight Sparkle: Oh crap.
Rainbow Dash: Solo Wizard versus the freaking BOSS?!
Applejack: I know. Lemme think… Can you make a bright light of some kind?
Twilight Sparkle: Uh, yeah! I use the Light cantrip.
DM: Hmm… You can see the building they’ve teleported to, but it’ll take a few rounds to get there.
Rarity: Then we’re on our way.
Fluttershy: Oh my goodness oh my goodness-
DM: Twilight, you’ve used a minor action… Now what?
Twilight Sparkle: Now? NOW?? Uh… hmm. I… charge at Nightmare Moon.
DM: What?
Twilight Sparkle: Not really, but… I’m Bluffing. <roll>
DM: <roll>
Nightmare Moon: …You’re kidding. You’re kidding, right?
DM: But she gets into a charging stance as well.
Twilight Sparkle: Right before I hit her, I want to teleport to the Elements. <roll>
DM: Um… That’ll be difficult, especially for a level 1-
SFX: (PING!)
Twilight Sparkle: Natural 20.
DM: Wow. You’ve bought a few seconds, nicely done. What do you plan to do with them?
Twilight Sparkle: I try to activate the Elements. The Reference Guide said something about a spark, so…
DM: Alright. Arcana skill challenge.
Twilight Sparkle: <roll> 19!
DM: Success.
Twilight Sparkle: <roll> 28! <roll> 26! <roll> 14!
DM: Hold on. That last one… <roll>
SFX: (POW!)
DM: Nightmare Moon managed to take action before you could finish the skill challenge. She attacked you for 19 damage, which leaves you at 1 HP. Fancy that.
