Most people can’t get into it until they get used to a lot of the suspension of disbelief involved. Realistically, being swallowed would be cramped, swelteringly hot, suffocating, etc. Ignoring realistic details you find unpleasant and focusing on the parts you like, it goes from that into a full-body blowjob.

I’ve gone into in-depth explanations a couple times, but there’s a lot of different reasons why. Some people like the intimacy, some people like the power/domination, some people like how they imagine it would feel to be massaged on every side by soft, slick, warm flesh or on the flipside how it would feel to hold someone inside themselves, that satisfying sensation of fullness. Some people find the sensation of swallowing very satisfying or just have an oral fixation in general. And some people can’t explain why its hot, it just is.
 
It doesn’t help that there’s like dozens of different ways you can work it. Willing or unwilling, realistic or fantastic, harmful or harmless, etc. Not to mention all the different ways by which you can stuff someone into someone else when you either make them really stretchy or make one party significantly larger than the other.
