Still sounds like the singer is letting air out of a bike tire every time she sings a “Ch” or “S” sound.
I think it was less an issue of noise than an issue of boosting the high end too much.
Here’s the original, for comparison. Seems much better balanced to my ear - I think they would’ve been better off just using it as-is and not running it through any additional EQ.
