You’re welcome.
I’m sure I will. I kinda like listening to classic rock sometimes. Thank you very much.
Maybe check out the Flat Duo Jets if you’re into rock and roll that sounds like it was written in the 1950s or 1960s, then. Dexter Romweber was into that and wrote songs that sound as though they’re straight out of that time in America.
I like it when people play their instruments just like they want and know what they need to create the desired sound.
(Chris is the singer of the Presidents.)
When it comes to Pony, there are people who analyze little details. There’s a thread on here about the type of burger Fluttershy and Twilight both picked up in Equestria Girls.
As for the musicians, It does go to show that a person doesn’t need to be locked in to and “All strings” mindset. Chris Ballew’s Bass is even in the same octave as the guitar!
I’m starting to think that the creators of the movie wanted it to be a regular guitar and did not predict that anyone will analyse it. xD
Anyway, this is an interesting thing about these musicians you mentioned. I didn’t know much about them before.
(If the first photo is gone by the time someone reads this, I’m referring to Ricky Wilson of The B-52’s.)
Ricky played guitar with four and five strings, depending on the song and tuning.
Mark Sandman - Played Bass with two strings and a Slide.
The Presidents of the United States of America - Play bass (Really, a guitar with bass strings) with two strings (Influenced by Mark Sandman) and Guitar with three strings. Jason in the back of that photo is holding an instrument that only has two tuners.
I could go on, but this is enough.
Oh and Les Claypool played a bass with a whammy bar.
It’s supposed to be a four-string guitar, I think.
And Mark Sandman played a bass with two strings…
And with whammy bar that works even if it isn’t combined with the bridge. :P
I want a whammy bar in my bass!
This should explain it.
Nobody can resist his prog-rock charms.
