The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

@Sereg
Cadance did use her talent. She put up a field of love and light, not a physical force field like what Shining Armor throws up. Cadance’s field did nothing to stop mortal ponies from walking through it, unlike Shining’s shield, so she wasn’t doing the same thing.

To clarify, I don’t think that Cadance is a wimp, but she really hasn’t shown any sign of being beyond the power level of mortal ponies. Outside of her talent, she doesn’t seem to be as capable as Twilight or Shining, both of whom know combat magic.

Sorry, accidently posted before finishing

“As far as power goes, Cadance had more trouble maintained a field of love over a city than Shining did covering a city with a physical force field. At most, she’s hovering around strong unicorn levels.”

Shining is not nly implied to be very powerful, shielding is implied to be his spaecial talent, whereas shielding has practically no relationship to Cadance’s. Even learning magic outside your special talent is supposed to be extremely impressive for unicorns. Doing almost as well as Shining is actually astonishing.

“Or they could have been inside, or down with the crystal ponies, or otherwise incapable of seeing Spike.”

Yes. I admitted as such in the previous comment. As I said, it’s not conclusive. Just a possible hint.

“You mean… She straightened out and levitated Spike? She did manage to glide them both safely down, I’ll give her that.”

Yes, so she was obviously doing something. How much that contributed to her speed, we can’t be sure.

We didn’t SEE Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, but they were in the city and WOULD have been able see Sombra, so, one would expect Rainbow to have tried something.

Or they could have been inside, or down with the crystal ponies, or otherwise incapable of seeing Spike.

Also, Cadance was clearly doing SOMETHING after Shining threw her (You can see her become more alert and she streamlines her body, not to mention grabbing with her telekinesis).

As I said, it’s not a completely iron clad arguement as there could be other explanations, but it IS a tantalising hint, especialy as Cadance hasn’t been physically at 100% any time that she’s been involved in actual action.

I’m not claiming that she’s at Celestia and Luna’s level (nor do I believe it), but I DO believe that she’s FAR more powerful than MOST ponies (in fact, the Cadance from my fanverse could rip a planet in half with her bare hooves … which is not really that impressive by alicorn standards).

Not quite. While exhausted, she flew fast enough to get the Crystal Heart before Rainbow Dash could move. Admittedly, Rainbow may have simply not noticed, but it does give at least a hint that she’s WAY faster than Rainbow.

Keeping. And what with there being two God-alicorn sisters who can win most physical contests, probably one of the reasons Equestria tends to hand out awards to at least fifth place.
achy

My headcannon has Luna actually being the tougher of the two sisters (Elements of Harmony not counting), and even being the surprise weapon that turned the battle against Discord in their favor. She’s fierce, yo.

@gittonsxv
… You do realize that Cadance has never shown any enhanced stats, right? Luna’s vast power is, by all indications, independent of her status as a winged unicorn.
