Not every book is Joyce, guys, if people had wanted to read them, they wouldn’t have used them as steps (though I did once find a $200 textbook in a display shelf at an IKEA).

I took this image in a completely different way. Like you have to follow the book stairs up to the building. Inside will be a sad Twilight to comfort.
 
This is a waste of books though, however much of an oddity and clever it is.

Yeah, those could be paper encyclopedias or anthologies of articles for students to use for research - essentially useless. Still, though, they will just rot out in the weather, becoming unsuitable for recycling, which is unfortunate.

Probably outdated encyclopedia sets from several decades ago that are no longer accurate. Not all books are relevant forever. This is still a better use for them than just throwing itno garbage.
