I’m on the same boat. I watched all of Attack on Titan in one sitting without taking a break.
They tend to be fun - just… best not to do them the night before classes, hehe ^^;
I haven’t watched Turnabout Storm, but I did that with Avatar The Last Airbender and a bunch of abridged serieseses back in the day as well. I have a long history of marathon runs.
I seem to have a bad habit of doing that nowadays… FiM, this, Turnabout Storm… >.>
you did a marathon run too? yeah, I started watching it and couldn’t look away. it was the same with FiM.
I can’t help but disagree. The characters are plenty likable (Eren in particular really strikes a chord with me), the Titans aren’t at all pushovers, even with the developments in the story by that point (another plot point a teensy bit later REALLY lays on the threatening again, and rather thick to be honest), and the monologues do a great job of describing the emotions and conflicts that the characters are feeling, while still keeping the story flowing along at a not-too-slow pace. Sure, it’s unnecessarily epic, but it’s not so in a narmy way, and that makes it a good thing.
Then again, my experience is far from typical, I’d imagine - I watched the entire first season in a one-sitting marathon, staying up until 8 AM until it was entirely finished. Needless to say, it REALLLY stuck with me o.o
80% of everything, I’d say. It’s Sturgeon’s Law, it’s not something new.
And I think that it still does not apply here, but that’s a matter of taste.
You’ve pretty much described 80% of anime.
But it is!
I’ve watched up to episode 13, and it obviously doesn’t deserve the attention is has.
-Unlikable characters.
-The titans go from threatening to pushovers in a few episodes.
-Mainly filler, being constant dramatic monologues saying the same thing over and over.
When I realized the titans are humans, the show died after all this cancer.
Look at a few of the previous comments. they explain what the deal is with the flowers.
Actually, it started on Twitter.
Either way, I still don’t get the appeal.
@LanceOmikron
Putting floral wreaths/crowns on random characters (mostly when they really really didn’t fit with the tone of the image) was a thing about a month back on Tumblr.
Pausing the gif reveals that the flowers aren’t animated, but photographs. Likely the gif maker added them in.
cool shit.
i guess that however he end up like that its kinda bizare, though…
@soundtea
thanks for the warning! but im not planing on watching it aniway
Y’know, people are allowed to have their opinions and all, but…
Are you blind?
Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out.
It’s a spoiler
That titan is actually a human
