They have a sunday night lineup. with mostly Family Guy and the Simpsons being the thing.
Fox still has a cartoon lineup?
Hulk Agents of Smash is average but the comedy is just mediocre and the series tries too hard to revolve around a VLOG concept
And it didn’t come out at the last episode, there where clues about him that would point it out before it was said if you pay attention, about who his father and brother are, we know of them using bloodbending so you could peace it together before it was said.
Or a great twist.
Why the spirits couldn’t get his to do it is because of something called THE AVATAR, who do you think is the reason the avatar is able to used all forms of bending, it would be a rill dick move fore the spirits to pick him for that and not try and tell the avatar about it.
Now THAT would of cheapened everything.
Why couldn’t the spirits have actually given him the power? They have been shown to interact with the physical world before. They could’ve seen that benders were getting a little too big for their britches and said “We gotta stop this shit” then chose a human champion. It would have been much more interesting to watch and added a but of moral ambiguity to the series. Also it was never even hinted that Amon was using bloodbending, let alone waterbending. Having that come out in the last episode is an asspull of the highest caliber.
He HAD to be a bender, it was bloodbending that allowed him to remove bending from people, and ONLY waterbenders can do that, HE HAD TO BE!
My point is Amon shouldn’t have been a bender at all. Before that he was a great villain, because he was threatening, effective, and most importantly, right. Benders were oppressing non-benders and Amon helped even the score. He moral compass didn’t exactly point north but it felt like he was a necessary evil. By making him a waterbender they took all the great themes of oppression and equality and just chucked ’em out the window.
To you it cheapened it but it was bone as a counterpoint to how the main villains of Last Airbender where mostly fire benders.
Why you just wanted a normal human taking peoples bending away(that would suck) for him in the last battle with Korra and Mako in the end; plus he does get his just desserts at the end of the show.
I don’t like it. Maybe if it had it’s own theme instead just redoing Mighty Morphing. And dammit if they are going to say cheesy lines they should at least put some ham into it! Seriously!
