I totally see this as a plot for an episode this season:

Gilda returns to Ponyville and has turned a new leaf but, everypony except Pinkie doesn’t believe she’s changed. So, Pinkie must help Gilda prove to everypony; especially her ex-best friend Rainbow Dash, that she’s changed.
