Okay, this was sort of an experiment for me…I don’t think it really succeeded, but I put enough effort into it that I’ll go ahead and upload it. I’ve never tried shading before, and it turns out that sitting around a campfire is really difficult to shade…also, I drew it as three separate pictures and combined them on the computer, and I’m not sure that worked out either.
 
I’m really happy with how my facial expressions turned out, though! It looks like Big Macintosh and Braeburn are discussing some serious apple-related subject, but Caramel and Soarin couldn’t possibly care less.
