Throughout the seasons, Rainbow Dash was hinted to feel this way towards Pinkie Pie. She’s fun when Rainbow Dash is in the mood, but can be a nuisance. They seem more distant while her relationships with Fluttershy and Applejack are growing. Also, I can portray her as I wish, because I’ve got some pretty solid examples from the official material.
Also, I wish this to remain separate from the “idiotic debate” series it started. It doesn’t have exactly the same intentions.

And it’s worth noting that in romance, as in all things, one doesn’t always get what one expects. Plus, this is shipping, which is more a matter of interpretation than hard data, particularly in a fandom like this.
Hell, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that irony would kick in and it would be Dash who’s the problem. ;)

I’m sure she’s crossed that line in the earlier seasons too once or twice, but I’m too sleep-deprived to be good at this,

See, thats why “Too many Pinkie Pies” is an important episode. I think that episode shows that the real Pinkie would know her limits, just like how she was in Season 1. I think she was more over the top in Season 4, but the Pinkie I rememebr in Seasons 1 to 3, at leats when there was more character consistency, was a character who knew when too far was ‘too far’.
I don’t mean nopony would want to be around her, but let’s face it, trying to keep up with her all the time would be exhausting, and she does have trouble toning it down sometimes.
I disagree. I think Pinkie’s manic energy and willingness to be congenial is what makes her popular. At least in season 1 to 3. But I will admit: she has been poorly written in Season 4.

You’re welcome to like Pinkiedash, but I imagine Pinkie’s manic energy could make her a difficult marefriend for anyone. Well, except maybe someone like Cheese Sandwich who’s just like her, but then you basically get a neighborhood with two Pinkies and that’s a whole other problem.

I like Pinkiedash. And I think Dash kind alooks out for Pink, and vice-versa.
Being attracted to someone does not mean they will not make you want to bang your head against a wall.
But it doesn’t disprove it either, and it does refute OP’s supposed “proof” that Rainbow is annoyed by Pinkie.
Even if we were to assume that video was 100% perfect, that still doesn’t prove they’d be interested in a dedicated relationship rather than something more casual.
