@¢hΓ¥$ª└ì$ How exactly would “so many things have been retconed”? We know next to nothing about the Changelings, about Chrysalis, about their past and history, or anything at all for that matter. Hell, we don’t even know if they operate on a hive mind structure or if each Changeling is their own separate individual.
 
Stuff like this is speculation, nothing more. Especially since it tries to answer the questions that the actual canon hasn’t or won’t answer.

Ironic that, imo, Chrissy is still more beautiful in her ‘evil’ form, in all the cases I’ve seen of this idea. Even though her ‘pure’ form, then, bears resemblance to the beauty that Celestia also has.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

It’s interesting to see this idea, that Chrysalis used to be an alicorn or non-changeling before becoming one herself. I know Cupidite and DiscorderlyConduct is running with that idea, and there have been a few others doing it as well. Nice to see the trend continued.
