The really funny part is, Fluttershy probably knows more about the “birds and the bees” than any of the other ponies in Ponyville. Hanging around with animals all the time and knowing their language, it’s hard to see how she wouldn’t.

I’ve never understood the use of the birds and the bees as a metaphor. Wouldn’t the bee get squashed? Why not use bunnies as the analogy. Or fruit bats, the only other animal known to perform oral sex during mating. Now thats an important lesson for our sluts of tomorrow to learn.
