It’s a reference to/parody of Sailor Moon. You see, these OCs are part of a sentai parody team, which would usually mean that they’re parodies of Super Sentai(the japanese franchise that gets adapted into Power Rangers in the USA), but Sentai is actually a broad term, that can also refer to pretty much ANY group of color-coded warriors with over the top poses and catchphrases, so pretty much any team of Magical Girls, or tokusatsu superhero teams that aren’t Super Sentai are also Sentai. Meaning that they’re all fair game to parody(including of course, Power Rangers).
