I don’t know, I’ve seen some good anime-style humanizations, as well as some good non-anime-style humanizations personally. I got nothing against humanizations, or anthro’ pony art.
I only deal in cold hard steel and cold hard facts. It’s up to my opponents to decide which I deliver.
For some reason, you always frame your own opinions as the “legitimate” ones.
Well, it’s a legitimate complaint. It’s why I’ve filtered humanised since the beginning, after all. It’s nothing but a bunch of moeblob crap with pony features. I only ever drop by one when I see comments on it in livefeed. Also why it took me like a year to figure out megasweet actually drew ponies at one time. If only that were more common!
I was thinking that about AJ too, but Rainbro Dash especially.

Eh, honestly, I wouldn’t go that far… While these designs aren’t bad, and the artist is pretty good, I’m not 100% keen on this style. I can’t even tell if they’re anthro’, or humanized. (Dashie & A.J. look like boys to me, no offense to the artist.)
Besides, I’m sure even if the movie used a style like this, half the fanbase would still gripe about, like say it’s being to “animu,” or something.

It’s not what I wanted it to be. I like the style of the movie because it has the same flexibility as the show, translatable into any art style imaginable, including this one.

It’s a self-defeating idea. The original style is their source, their inspiration. It therefore cannot, in that sense, be inferior. I like this image, and I think the artist did a great job. It would be utter stupidity to use this moment to criticize the origin of it.
